東京地裁 ウェブ会議システム運営のＺｏｏｍ側に1.8億円賠償命令
ウェブ会議システム「Ｚｏｏｍ（ズーム）」のロゴに商標権を侵害されたとして、音楽用電子機器メーカーのズーム（東京都）が米国のＺｏｏｍ運営会社などに計６億円の損害賠償などを求めた訴訟の判決が２４日、東京地裁であった。渋谷勝海裁判長は新型コロナ禍までの商標権侵害を認め、計約１億８２００万円の支払いを命じた。ロゴの使用差し止め請求は棄却した。

On the 24th, the Tokyo District Court handed down a ruling in a lawsuit filed by Zoom (Tokyo), a manufacturer of electronic music equipment, against the US company that operates the web conferencing system “Zoom,” seeking a total of 600 million yen in damages for trademark infringement using the Zoom logo. Presiding Judge Katsumi Shibuya recognized the trademark infringement up to the time of the COVID-19 pandemic and ordered the payment of approximately 182 million yen in total. The court dismissed the request to cease the use of the logo.
