国指定の伝統的工芸品「越中和紙」の一つ、富山県朝日町の「蛭谷（びるだん）和紙」の商標登録を巡って争っていた朝日町と和紙職人が、和解した。将来的な連携に向けて協力することなどを、地元住民らでつくる「蛭谷和紙伝承協議会」も交えて確認。１０日に同町役場で確認書を交わした。
