コンピューター、ゲーム関連機器の販売の米企業「メタPCs」（Meta PCs）は、フェイスブック社がリブランディングに使用した「メタ」の商標について、自社の方に優越権があるという声明を表した。ただし「メタPCs」はフェイスブックが補償金として2000万ドル（22億7500万円超）を支払うのであれば、商標を譲る意向も表している。TMZが報じた。
