UPOV PRISMAは植物品種権オンライン申請システムです。日本では、農林水産省が平成30年3月26日（月曜日）から種苗法に基づく植物新品種の品種登録の電子出願及び電子納付を開始したところで、国際出願についての日本語の説明サイトは見つからない状態でした。[2018.5.14]。
(2023.2.28 追記)
UPOV PRISMAのnavigation languageに日本語が採用されていますので、日本人のupov prismaの利用は禁止されていないと推測します。よって日本人のupov prisma加盟国への出願も可能ですが、日本はupov prisma加盟国ではないので外国人が日本での種苗登録をするところまでは未だできていないと思います。
