Trinidad and Tobago joins TMview

As of 15 April 2024, the Trinidad and Tobago Intellectual Property Office (TTIPO) has made its trade mark data available in the TMview search tool.With the TTIPO on board, the TMview tool now contains data from 77 participating offices, and with the addition of more than 55 500 trade marks from the TTIPO, TMview now provides information and access to more than 121 million trade marks in total.

EUIPO Image search solution will further increase usefulness of the flagship tool.As of July 2022, the Office has incorporated an in-house image search function into TMview that will further increase the usefulness of the flagship tool. The image search includes trade marks filed in EU IP offices, allowing users to automatically compare images to trade mark applications in those countries.

TMview’s visual search facility, which allows users to search for trade mark images in the world’s largest online trade mark database, continues to be extended with the addition of the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA).As of 30 November 2020, the DPMA has made its trade mark images available via the TMview visual search tool. Since 2017, when the first image search facility was implemented in TMview, different intellectual property offices have incorporated this capability into their search facilities.
