クリスチャン ルブタン エス アー エス（CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SAS以下、ルブタン）およびデザイナーのクリスチャン・ルブタン氏がシューズブランド「エイゾー（EIZO）」などを運営するエイゾーコレクションを相手取り提訴した件について、東京地裁はルブタン側の請求をすべて棄却した。ルブタン側は、エイゾーコレクションが「ルブタン」の定番といえる赤い靴底（レッドソール）のパンプスに類似した商品を製造販売したと主張し、同社に対して損害賠償などを求めて提訴していた。ルブタン側は、“レッドソール”で有名な「ルブタン」の周知著名性を使用してエイゾーコレクションが類似商品を製造販売し、「ルブタン」の商品と混同を生じさせたことが不正競争に該当すると主張。合計で約4200万円の損害賠償と、エイゾーコレクションが製造販売しているパンプス7種の製造販売および展示の禁止を求めていた。
